Greetings in the Name of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. I am Pastor Jim Nelson. I have been happily married to my lovely wife, Barbara, for over 35 years. We have been doing ministry our whole life together. Music and worship have always been at the center of our ministry. In 2021, I joined Holy Cross to share the Gospel, teach the Word and share the Sacraments with the community in Brigham City. My heart in ministry is that people will come to know Jesus Christ as their own personal Lord and Savior and grow in their understanding of His life-giving Word.
Jeff George was raised in Brigham City with multiple sisters who played the piano and sang in various choirs. He developed an interest in music at an early age. Given those musical predecessors, his talent apparent, Jeff didn’t even have to audition for the school’s concert choir program. During high school years, Jeff was well known by his peers as a rock and roll superstar, playing in various bands. Jeff majored in music at Utah State University and after college toured with the USO in Japan and other countries. He then played with numerous bands across the United States, visiting every state in the union. Jeff plays the organ, piano, and guitar. His current interests are composing music with Biblical themes. He has original pop songs coming out soon on Spotify.
Lee Ericson is a graduate of Covenant Bible Seminary, having earned his Bachelor of Theology (B.Th.) Degree and his Master of Biblical Studies (M.B.S.) from the Covenant Bible Seminary in Lakewood, Washington. There he had extensive study in the Art of Biblical Counseling and served as Student Assistant to the Registrar where he offered counsel for students on the proper curriculum for their chosen ambition in the world of the Ministry of the Lord.
Professional counseling experience includes being Ombudsman for the homeless and down-trodden,
and the elderly.
Lee is a 6-year Military Veteran, serving in the Military as Quartermaster Sergeant (SSgt/E-6) with the North Dakota Army National Guard and various Army Guard Engineering Units. That experience, along with the educational and work experiences at the Covenant Bible Seminary instilled discipline, integrity, honesty, and excellent work habits.
Lee accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at age 5. Of Norwegian heritage, he’s been a
baptized and confirmed Lutheran his whole life. He is the father of seven children, twenty grandchildren,
and three great-grandchildren.
