Parking Lot Fundraiser
Hello, Friends – For the last several months, the church has been raising money for complete replacement of the parking lot. Over the last 65 years, we’ve resurfaced and fixed cracks as needed but in the last few years, it’s become apparent that complete tear-out and new asphalt is needed.
The way our Lutheran church is set up, there has never been an over-seeing body who distributed funding for maintenance, Pastors, or any other guaranteed funding. Holy Cross has always been self-sustaining and taken care of finances via the local membership.
In a little more than a year of fundraising, we’ve managed to raise about half of the needed funds through members and friends of the congregation. Encouraged by this, and going on faith, we have begun the project! As with many projects of this nature and scope, we’ve encountered unexpected conditions resulting in increased costs and delays.
We, as a small congregation, are asking for help. Any contribution to our project would help with the additional costs we will incur to complete the project. Please prayerfully consider what you could donate, and please pray for
